The Spaces Between Us Some of the most powerful moments in theatre happen in the pauses — in what isn’t said, in the look across a room, in the words that mean something entirely different than what they sound like. This workshop is built around those moments. Over the course of our Tuesday morning sessions, you’ll partner with fellow actors to explore scenes from contemporary and classic plays — material that puts two people in a room together and asks them to really listen, really respond, and really connect. Because at the heart of every great scene isn’t conflict or drama — it’s two human beings. trying to reach each other. Through script analysis, character exploration, and guided scene work, you’ll develop the tools to make honest, specific choices that bring your scenes — and your partners — to life. You’ll learn to trust your instincts, sit with the uncomfortable silences, and find the truth hiding underneath the lines. Whether you’ve never set foot on a stage or you’ve been performing for decades, you’ll find a home here. This is not a class about being impressive. It’s about being present — and discovering just how much that is enough. Come as you are. Leave knowing a little more about yourself, your craft, and the person sitting across from you.
