Find Your Voice Every actor has something no one else has — their own singular perspective, their own lived experience, their own way of seeing the world. This workshop is about learning to trust it. Over five sessions, we’ll use the monologue as our laboratory. Not just as a performance piece, but as a doorway — into character, into story, into the deeper instincts you already carry as a human being. Through guided imagination, sensory exploration, and memory work, you’ll learn to build a character from the inside out, grounded in truth and alive in the moment. Script analysis will give you the tools to understand what your character wants, needs, and fears. Supportive in-class performance will give you the space to take risks without judgment. Whether you’re just beginning to find your footing on stage or you’ve been at this for years and are ready to go deeper, this is a place where the work is taken seriously — and so are you. Unlock the power of your unique voice in this 5-session workshop where students use the monologue as a dynamic vehicle for deep character development. Through guided exercises, and the use of imagination, memory and senses, along with script analysis, and supportive performance, you will build rich, fully realized characters from the ground up.
